I just found your work and beginning to read. I was wondering if you know much about Abraham’s mother, Amtalai? It is less than easy to find information about her. Thanks so much.
Thanks, Jordie. I’m unfamiliar with Abraham’s mother – is she in Genesis Rabbah?
This is one of few articles I have found about her: https://www.academia.edu/39837668/WHO_WAS_ABRAHAMS_MOTHER She is apparently not mentioned in the bible, but there is Midrashic legend outlined here. There are other writings,(some with a queer spin) but not much. I heard of her through someone I follow & I started looking. This ‘patriarch’, and no. mention or honour of this matriarch.
